Scott so graciously offered to take the boys, yes all 3 of them, to breakfast at
IHOP and out for a while so I could get somethings done and have a little time to myself. Their outing led them to Gander Mountain, where they found play shotguns and inflatable deer to practice their
pre-hunting skills. While Scott assures me this is to promote gun safety at an early age, I haven't quite gotten used to having deer in the house!!!! I must admit, it is so darn cute seeing the twins hide behind furniture and 'chase' down the deer, followed by a celebration dance because they 'got it!!'
Dad finally broke down and got a new car this weekend! He was driving a suburban that he and Mom bought right after I graduated from high school. While the suburban has been a real trooper for all of these years, we are all happy to see Dad in something new!!!
Our friends, Doug & Karen, are expecting their first baby next month so a few of us went in together and threw them a couple's shower. It was so much fun and they got lots and lots of gifts for baby Abigail!!
This past week Peyton came down with bronchitis, which lead to reactive airway disorder. Unfortunately, his big brother, Parker, struggles with the same thing from time to time. While Peyton was the utmost uncooperative baby for his breathing treatments with me, he was very happy to have his big brother, the 'pro' at the nebulizer machine, help him out!
