Swimming on Parker & Pierce's birthday!

The boys turned 5 last Wednesday so we met our friends Kylie, Bailey and Kristi at Chick-fil-a for a birthday breakfast. Then we went over to their house and the kids swam in their beautiful pool...

Where's Peyton???

Peyton loves to play on the easel. He is still too little to play with the letters because they always end up in his mouth, so he has found a different way to use the easel....

Woodlands Waterway

Every time we go by The Woodlands Waterway the boys ask to ride the boat. We promised them that the next time Mimi & Papa were in town that we would all go. Since everyone was here to celebrate the boys' birthday, we thought this would be a perfect time. It was a long 45 minute ride and tour that the kids got bored with, however, it was nice family time and now they won't ask to go every time they see the boats! Instead, they will get to remember the time we rode it with Mimi, Papa, Kailee, Sara & James...

Foam Party

We decided to do something a little different this year. We had never been to a foam party until earlier this summer and the boys had a blast! After that, it was very easy to plan their birthday party because most kids love lots and lots of bubbles!

No foam for Roman!

Cake & Ice Cream

I just can't believe our babies are already FIVE! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that we saw two heartbeats on that first ultrasound! They are growing into these two wonderful, happy, energetic, curious, smart, strong, creative, helpful, and very different from each other, I must add, big boys. They bring so much joy to our entire family's lives. We thank God every day for our 'Miracle A' and 'Miracle B.' Happy Birthday my loves!!!

Peyton could not wait until the table cleared so he could climb up and play with the fire engines that were on the cake. He had a blast running his engines through the 'mud'! (chocolate ice cream)

Presents, presents, presents!

This year was full of transformer gifts. From the many different transformers, to jammies, to voice changing masks, Parker & Pierce love it all!! Thank you to all of our friends who came to celebrate this special time with us including, and Aunt Sara and Kailee who came in from Dallas.

I love my orange balloon!!!

After church this morning, we took the boys to Luby's for lunch. When it was time to leave, they each got a balloon attached to a box of crayons, along with a coloring book. Parker got a blue balloon, Pierce got a green one, and Peyton, an orange balloon. Peyton always oohs and ahhs over balloons we see in the store, so I knew he'd love it. I had no idea, however, that he would be so completely attached to this one! Not only did he fall asleep on the way home with a tight grip on the string, all afternoon you could spot Peyton by the bright orange glow following him all around the house!!!
